Llanbradach
It is important to refer to the maps when visiting Club beats, many of which are not signed at present although signs will be erected where possible later in 2021.
Eight beats are situated in the area of Llanbradach.
The permanent fish species present are brown trout, grayling, chub, eels and bull heads .
Rumours of barbell are as yet unconfirmed.
A maximum 2 brown trout of 13 inches or more may be taken in each session.
Salmon and sea trout are also periodically present but must be returned if caught.
The season for this beat is 3rd March – 30th September
Permitted baits are fly, worm or spinner
Location & parking

Looking upstream from the Winfield pub link road bridge (local post code CF83 3NA) there are 2 small beats on the west bank and one much longer one on the east bank.
Looking south immediately downstream from the bridge there are beats on both banks.
Further downstream again there are three further beats one of which (west bank ) is situated near, and can be accessed from, School Street . Local post code CF83 3LD)
The remaining two beats (opposite both banks) are situated near, and can be accessed from, Heol Beulah. Local post code CF83 3NF
There are no car parks in the immediate vicinity so parking in adjacent streets is advised.
Access to the river in the vicinity of the Wingfield link road can be gained from a field gate opposite the Wingfield pub or from a lane adjacent to the nearby allotments
The remaining beats can be accessed from Heol Beulah or School Street.
