It is important to refer to the maps when visiting Club beats, many of which are not signed at present although signs will be erected where possible later in 2021.

This beat is the Northernmost of the Clubs beat at Tiryberth.
The permanent  fish species present are brown trout, eels and bull heads.
A  maximum 2 brown trout of 13 inches or more may be taken in each session.
Salmon and sea trout are also periodically present but must be returned if caught.

West bank of Rhymney River between the Twyn ( NP12 3UL) and a pipe line further north that crosses the River near William Street, Tiryberth.

The season for this beat is 3rd March – 30th September. (trout)
                                           16th June – 14th March (grayling and other coarse fish)

Permitted baits are fly, worm or spinner 3rd March – 30th September
       Spinners when permitted, must be single hook barbless
       No spinning  1st October – 3rd March
